Jude Célestin

Jude Célestin (born on June 19, 1962 in Port-au-Prince〔 ''24 heures'', 25 November 2010, (Election en Haïti: le favori s’invente un titre d’ingénieur de l’EPFL )〕) is a Haitian presidential candidate who is one of two candidates heading off to the second round in the 2015 presidential election race. After an education in Port-au-Prince, Célestin studied mechanical engineering in Switzerland.〔http://us.haiti-live.com/haiti/presidential-elections-2010/candidates/jude-celestin.html.〕 Before he was nominated as the presidential candidate for President René Préval's Unity (INITE) party, he was the executive director of the government's construction ministry, the National Center of Equipment.〔http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/12/08/haiti-election-results-pr_n_794120.html.〕 His vision for job creation and the implementation of solid programs to fight juvenile delinquency in Haiti earned him support from many young people.
